Putt for Cash - Yamba Golf & Country Club Terms & Conditions Entry & Tickets Tickets go on sale from 5:30pm each Friday night. Each ticket costs $2. There is no limit to the number of tickets an individual may purchase (unlimited entries allowed). Participants must be present at the club when their ticket is drawn as the putt is directly after the draw. Participants must be over 18. Draw & Participation A ticket is drawn at random during the Friday night raffles (draw typically at 7.00pm). The person whose ticket is drawn is given one opportunity to attempt the "Putt for Cash" challenge. The person drawn will press a button on the random number generator app to get the distance of the putt. This will between 4mtrs and 10mtrs. The Putt The contestant gets one putt attempt. The putt is made on the 18 th Green in front of the club house. Distance and specific conditions (e.g., length of putt and direction) are determined by club officials and may vary. Prizes If the contestant sinks the putt, they win the cash jackpot. If the putt is missed, the jackpot rolls over to the following week and increase in value. If the entrant is a member and they miss they receive $50 club cash on their member card. General Rules The event is typically open to both members and guests. All decisions by club officials regarding the conduct of the draw and the putt are final. Size of the Jackpot Any jackpot will start at $1000. When a jackpot reaches $3000 a second draw allows a second person to putt for $250 club cash, only when the person putting for the main prize misses. There is no $50 club cash prize for the second putt. When the jackpot reaches $5000 a second jackpot is started and this becomes the second putt. The first putt is for the first jackpot and the second person is putting for the second lesser jackpot. When two jackpots reach $5000 the club will run a ‘must go’ night. Rules for this are determined prior to the night but one Jackpot must go off that night. Rules for Jackpot Night The two names are draw as per normal. Only after the two putts have missed does this next step happen. 9 people are drawn, and they get to choose a number between 2 and 10. This represents the distance they putt. The 1 st person drawn gets to choose the distance they want to putt. Once 9 people are drawn the putting commence from pre market positions on the green. The furtherest putts go first. (E.g. the first person draw chooses the shortest distance as its easier. However they rely on everyone else missing before they get to putt). If the putt still isn’t sunk we continue to draw people who will putt from 2mtr until it goes off. Additional Notes The club may update or vary these rules at any time.
