The Wanderers Band pay tribute to the two decades where rock’n’roll began and the legends who made it all happen. Yamba Golf & Country Club will be brought to life with classic songs that will get the place pumping.  A fun and energetic show band with a combined 169 years in the music industry; The Wanderers Band have been pieced together like a Frankenstein’s monster of local bands; CJ (vocals and keyboard), Brian (sax) and Glen (drums) met during their collaboration in The Soulmen, a local Blues Brothers tribute show. Rob (Guitar) joins us from The Zephyr Project. He has previously worked with CJ and Glen in The Jacks cover band.

Michael (Bass) loves playing Blues, Rock, Jazz, Motown, Rockabilly, Rock n roll, Country and Country Rock and is the latest addition to The Wanderers Band. Mick has played with Bands from Qld and NSW including Crossroads, Classic Black, Red eye reduction, Mojo, Figjam, Smooth Grooves plus, Doc Neeson and Phil Emmanuel.

As Glen says “We’ve worked really hard to perfect the right blend of all the most loved 50’s and 60’s Rock’N’Roll.  If you’re looking for a premier band for a festival, club show, corporate function or large parties The Wanderers Band is bound to impress and you had better tell your guests to strap on their dancing shoes and lubricate their vocal chords.”  The Wanderers Band have Brad Potter as their resident music tech.  Some may consider that these guys should be kept out of sight and out of mind.  To that CJ says “Brad is the sixth member of the band.  Without him we are way too quiet!  Brad could probably make Frank Walker from National Tiles sound like Morgan Freeman.  The only reason a man of his talents is still doing sound for us is that he believes we are the only ones with the antidote for the poison we put in his industrial sized iced coffee.”  The Wanderers Band, coming soon to Yamba in August!
