Jasmine grew up locally.  For the past several years though, she has been studying Music and Education at UNSW.  Over this time, she has trained under renowned jazz pianists Alister Spence, Casey Golden and Adrian Lim-Klumpes, and more recently under Simone Waddell for voice.

Jasmine has performed at local Yamba festivals Plunge and Surfing the Coldstream with her friends Grace Hickey and the Honeymakers; she also has performing experience with uni friends down in Sydney.

Stylistically, Jasmine is drawn to genres like jazz, pop, folk, RnB, and gospel, weaving them together to create her sound.  Citing Joni Mitchell and Robert Glasper as her two primary musical influences, you will hear Jasmine’s crisp renditions of some of their songs.  She also plays songs by artists like Eryn Allen Kayne, Hiatus Kaiyote, Sam Smith and London Grammar, along with some original material.

Come along to hear lush, simple sophistication.
